Pointe-aux-Loups is in fact a small district of about fifty houses. The island, which is very tiny, is the smallest inhabited island of the archipelago. You can reach this island via route 199, which goes right through the district. The island is bordered by beaches that are among the most beautiful ones of the Islands, but also among the most dangerous ones, especialy during the spring tides. The strong currents could take you into the open sea… be careful.
