The Entry Island is a small island inhabited by English-speaking people, and it is the only inhabited island that is not linked to the archipelago by the road. Accessible by boat in summer or by plane in winter, it offers a virgin nature and breathtaking landscapes. Its mound Big Hill, the tallest on the Islands with a height of 174 metres, offers an extraordinary panoramic viewpoint.
Tour the island and admire the lighthouse, the Anglican Church and the little museum. From the chemin Mountain, observe the birds nested on the cliff. Stop at the Musée historique de l’Île d’Entrée and learn more about the history of the island’s occupation (opened from June to September, free admission). To get to Île d’Entrée, you must take the ferry that goes back and forth everyday, except on Sunday.
