Les-Îles-de-la-Madeleine (Bassin)

The village of Bassin is located in the west part of the island and has a panoramic road from which you can see the Rocher du Corps Mort. This road also passes by the Atelier et galerie d’art La Baraque, where you can visit artists’ workshops, and by the Phare de l’Anse-à-la-Cabane. A little farther on the chemin de la Montagne, le Site d’Autrefois will make you discover the traditional life of fishermen. The Parc des Bois-Brûlés on the chemin du Bassin is also an interesting site where a hiking trail is available for everyone.
