Île du Havre aux Maisons
In the Very Centre
The île du Havre aux Maisons, which is located in the very centre of the archipelago, is very flat, just like Entry Island. The trees are very rare, probably because of the clear cuttings of the last century, while the softness of its green relief contrasts with its steep red cliffs.
This island is the landing runway of the Îles de la Madeleine, it's a dozen islands that form a 65-kilometre crescent-shaped archipelago of 202 square kilometres">Îles de la Madeleine and thus welcomes a large number of tourists, because it is home to the Islands airport. Here, the inhabitants breed blue mussels. You can also walk on the dunes, either that of the North or that of the South, which take up an important part of the island’s territory.
