This reserve is part of a network of eight national wildlife preserves in Quebec and composes the remnants of a unique ecosystem in the province. Overall, 684 hectares of territory are available to visitors who wish to observe the beautiful endangered bird species.
This reserve, which is located on Grosse-Île, is also used as an important migratory stop for several birds and ducks. Two walking interpretation paths lead to the reserve: Les Marais and L'Échouerie. You can go on these hikes by yourself or accompanied by a guide.
